Ear Meal with Homler & Martin

Anna Homler is a 'linguistic alchemist.' She sings in made-up languages that enable her to create remarkably expressive and exotic clusters of phonetics... The result is a beautiful combination of 'non-words' that are woven into surprisingly familiar and meaningful pieces of music." -- File 13 "Pick of the Issue”

Jorge Martin (Long Beach, CA) is one half of the duo, Spastic Colon.
His starting materials are sine waves, pulses, and sounds generated from the other person performing with him. Currently, he is a board member of The Society for the Activation of Social Space through Art and Sound, aka SASSAS and is closely watching the Lakers during this playoff season.

Alan Nakagawa is one half of the current iteration of Collage Ensemble Inc. and loves to frequent local eateries. His blog on LA-based food spots is nearing 500 entries and has had the pleasure of collaborating with various sound ensembles and producing this webcast, Ear Meal. (ditto on the Lakers)
